A powerful explosion at one of Tashkent's major power substations and the subsequent terrible fire left many central areas of the capital without electricity and water.

There was neither electricity nor water in the facilities and business entities. The population, left in stuffy rooms during the scorching heat, is in a dire situation. While the youth might be able to get out of the situation, the health of our elderly who cannot leave their homes in such stuffy weather, patients with chronic illnesses, and infants is currently under serious threat.
Воқеа жойидан жонли эфир
Have the responsible officials of the system not considered such social consequences of the situation, and the value of human dignity?
We have experienced abnormal cold, and barely managed to get through the autumn-winter season.

If the infrastructure in the center of the capital started to fail as early as the first weeks of summer, how can we imagine the real peak of summer and the abnormally hot days that lie ahead? Is the system ready for this?

The reputation of the capital and the factor of "smiling" tourists
As a result of this accident, not only ordinary residents but also several large hotels located in the center of the capital and the foreign guests staying in them were left without water and electricity.

Зимистон электрсиз сувсиз қолган ахоли
Foreign tourists who came to the capital from afar, believing in the lofty words about the country's tourism attractiveness and spending money, are now looking at our situation with surprise and sarcasm. In the 21st century, a complete outage of drinking water and electricity supply for 7 hours in the capital city of the country is a serious blow to the country's investment climate and international image.
Воқеа қандай бўлган
Any developed country must have high-level maneuver capabilities in its energy system, i.e., reserve lines (bypass lines). According to the project, if one major substation fails or explodes, the system should have automatically or quickly switched the population to neighboring networks and restored the supply.
So why didn't this system work this time?
According to experts, due to the connection of newly built multi-story buildings and facilities to the old infrastructure, the neighboring substations themselves are operating under maximum load (overload) and cannot take on additional load.
A very suspicious and interesting situation became clear when direct conversations were held with the public and witnesses regarding the situation. Besides the emergency rescue services, an employee of the State Standard (conformity assessment body) also arrived at the scene of the explosion. Witnesses testify that

they mentioned that a NEW transformer had recently been installed at the explosion site!
Questions for experts and the Minister

Why did the new transformer explode?
Tell me, respected industry experts,
If the equipment were old, it could be excused as expired. However, the explosion of new equipment raises very serious puzzles and suspicions. Is it defective or were the purchases of poor quality? This is our opinion, please do not be offended, but this is our opinion. Were millions of funds allocated from the budget through public procurement, but in reality, equipment that does not meet technical requirements at all, is of poor quality, or is "defective" purchased? Further questions arise, this is also our opinion.
Did this transformer actually undergo a "GOST" inspection?
What is the purpose of the State Standard employee's prompt arrival at the scene? To hide shortcomings in the documentation of the new equipment and the real culprits, or to ascertain the truth?
Where is the strategy? Why did the Minister of Energy, Jo'rabek Mirzamahmudov, and the system leaders not consider equipping the pumps that supply drinking water to the population with autonomous generators in case of such crises in strategic facilities?
