On July 25, on the occasion of the International Day of Well-being of Judges and Court Staff, the role of judges and court system employees in ensuring justice, their labor, well-being, and the reforms being implemented in the judicial sphere in Uzbekistan will be discussed.

Justice is one of the greatest values that everyone believes in. Every citizen who comes to court primarily expects that truth will prevail and a lawful and impartial decision will be made. This responsibility rests with judges and court staff.
Every day, hundreds of cases affecting human destinies are considered in courts. Behind every case stands a family, a person's hope, rights, and future. Therefore, a judge is required not only deep legal knowledge but also impartiality, conscience, patience, and high responsibility. Court staff play a crucial role in the swift and effective administration of justice.
Taking these factors into account, by the resolution of the United Nations General Assembly dated March 4, 2025, July 25 was established as the International Day of Well-being of Judges and Court Staff.
This date was not established in vain. Because an independent and just judicial system is ensured, first and foremost, by judges and court staff who perform their duties honestly and impartially and have decent working conditions. Their physical and mental health, safe working environment, and professional stability are among the important factors for justice to prevail in society.
Today, in many countries, various educational events are held on the occasion of this day, and special attention is paid to the professional activities, labor, and well-being of judges and court staff.
In our country, consistent reforms are being implemented to improve the judicial system, strengthen the independence of the judiciary, create decent working conditions for judges and court staff, and enhance their professional potential and social protection.
Indeed, a just court is the foundation of a strong state. The labor, dedication, and well-being of the judges and court staff who ensure it are of invaluable importance in strengthening the rule of law, protecting human rights, and reinforcing society's trust in the judiciary.
